BOOKBINDING, A NEW ADVENTURE
Recently I started studying book binding. Starting from the basis, here is a saddle stitch bounded mini book. This is helping me to work on the dummy of my next book Head of the Lion.
I will soon show you more of what I'm learning!

Me and Kazuma Obara binding the first dummy of Head of the Lion. It was June 2015 and during Teun Van Der Heijden workshop, Kazuma kindly showed me how to bind a book. It's now time for me to work on the new dummy of the project. Back to study the binding techniques..

SAN BERILLO, NEW ARTICLE on VICE MAGAZINE
My new article about San Berillo is online on Vice Magazine. San Berillo in one of the historical districts of my hometown (Catania, Sicily). In the late fifties the area was part of a redevelopment plan, unfortunately never completed. After the intervention the area known as San Berillo was drastically reduced and today is mainly known as home of prostitution and migrants.
